F1600 ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE 2024 SEASON
Abbottstown, PA December 13, 2023– K-Hill Motorsports would like to announce one of our
F1600 drivers for the 2024 FRP season. We are beyond excited to have Ava Hanssen at the
helm of our F1600 car!
Hanssen is a 13-year-old young lady residing in Elkhorn, Wisconsin who began racing at just 4-
years old. She is an accomplished Karter and very ambitious about starting her open wheel
career. 2022 Results: Route 66 Sprint Series Briggs 206 Junior Champion, Route 66 Sprint
Series KA 100 Junior Champion, Briggs 206 Junior North American Champion and Badge Kart
Club Briggs 206 Junior Champion. Outside of racing, Ava is an excellent student. Hanssen is
attending her 8th grade year at Elkhorn Middle School in Elkhorn, WI where she is also a
member of the Band and Pep Band playing the alto saxophone. Hanssen is involved in the
Choir and the Art Club as well as making time for sports performance training twice a week at
GTS Performance. During her free time, she enjoys hanging out with friends, drawing, playing
video games and cooking/baking. In this coming season, Ava will run a full Formula Race
Promotions race schedule.

Hanssen will make her way to FRP Road Atlanta March 21-24, 2024.
